It’s a great hotel with all the amenities that you may need. Cool design, very comfortable rooms, spacious areas, the pool was such a nice treat at the end of the day touring the city. The gym was a great surprise as it was the most equipped hotel gym that I have seen from W hotels, I was able to get great workouts in with all the machines and free weights available, this was the best for me. Staff was so professional and prepared to help with any request that we may have. They gave us great recommendations on things to do and restaurants to check out in the area. It’s not in a central area in Bogota, but around it there’s the Usaquen neighborhood where the streets come to life with vendors, jewelers, handcrafts and amazing curated restaurants and bars. Special thanks to Fabian as he was dedicated to helping us I and making us feel welcome and at home. amazing
Fantastic hotel. Excellent service; special shoutout/praise to: Tatiana in The Beer - very kind, knowledgeable with respect to the beers on offer. She even offered to take a picture of my husband and I. Catalina in Jairo - made us feel comfortable, gave great recommendations regarding food choices at breakfast. Oscar and Lidia - made the check in and check out process painless and easy. We received a complimentary upgrade to one of the rooms with spectacular views on the 17th floor. Can’t miss the breakfast in Jairo. Food was so delicious!
I stayed at the W Bogotá from March 19 to 22, and the experience was exceptional. From the start, Viviana, the concierge, took care of all my needs. The staff at the bar, restaurant, and housekeeping were extremely attentive. My suite was immaculate, well-appointed, and had an exceptional city view. The facilities, including the gym, were top-notch. Plus, the location was perfect, close to great restaurants and attractions. I want to highlight Mrs. Loaiza from housekeeping, who kept my room perfect and even left me a small treat, a "Bocadillo", which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely return
Best luxury hotel in Bogotá I’ve been a client of this hotel for over 8 years and I will always come back. The suites are very nice and well worth the money, the staff are very professional and accommodating , the facilities are top notch. As a titanium member with extensive travel history I can assure you this is a great choice.
Pack your workout clothes and bathing suit! But first, I would like to highlight for W management team the top service offered by Tatiana and Miguel at Jairo restaurant. There's a passion fruit dessert at the restaurant that you cannot miss! Now for the hotel: the top feature is the gym, hands down. Room was great - but note that it has an open layout where only a curtain separates the room from the bathroom. Given that it is a 5-star hotel, there is room for improvement in specific details that could make this hotel even more perfect. 1. The street entrance is easy to miss and if you miss it, it is a nightmare to go around. There should be a much more visible sign and signs in advance to indicate the correct, one-way entrance. 2. It was also hard to find the hotel door and entrance - the staff member outside was not on the lookout for guests, nor proactive, nor attentive, nor was it obvious that he was affiliated with the hotel. This caused a poor first impression and frustrating experience upon arrival. 3. while the elevator greeting mats are a nice touch, they make rolling bags into the elevator difficult and could cause someone with limited mobility to trip over that uneven surface. 4. the light switches in the rooms are spread out and there are no ceiling lights, but I liked the floor night light feature once we discovered the switch. 5. Jairo dinner service: I shared the special occasion during the phone reservation but upon arrival, there was no host/hostess and therefore it was not observed. I would also recommend adding the option of house water for eco-conscious guests who do not want to support the consumption of water bottles unnecessarily. The drink menu was not shared until we asked for it. 6. Lastly, while I understand the decoration concept of the hotel is meant to be like a dark cave, better signage is needed on the fourth floor to find the gym, spa, and bathrooms, and also in the lobbies - it's easy to feel a bit lost with the low lighting.
